From the primordial sludge of Australia seethes Monster Zoku Onsomb! ripping music to bits and assembling the pieces into a frequency jigsaw of Frankensteinian proportions! This September Monster Zoku Onsomb! leave OZ to blast another dose of their psychotronic sounds & visuals straight at who ever is brave enough to look and listen. Their third international tour takes in JAPAN RUSSIA EUROPE and the UK and coincides with the release of their new CD "EARTH EATERS" which is being released in Russia on ACIDSAMOVAR and in 2009 IN the UK on DEATH$UCKER RECORDS.

The Monsters third full length release is certainly not for genre purists. To create EARTH EATERS, MZO have moved beyond just splicing and dicing samples and mashups, with Miss P. Leisure securing the mic and creating a new sound using the strangest of vocal effects. They still retain their samplistic roots with plenty of bashment & retrodelica rollers, but add super futuristic basslines, beats which are unrelenting and lyrics about body implants, circuit bending and dancing in the nude to create the sound that is uniquely their own.
Put simply, MZO bring the party to any planet of sound that you happen to inhabit.

We had an amazing time on tour in 2005..and we must thank everyone from the bottom of our rotting green hearts who helped get us monsters out of OZ - you are TOPS!

...It all started on the 21st of July 2005...and after surviving Tokyo's largest earthquake in 13 years, and doing 3 shows in 24hours.. MZO continued to cause a ruckus everywhere we went in Europe. From the industrial wet dream that is The STUBNITZ ship, to that dodgy pub in Bristol..(that sure is ONE rough town!)

New Years 2005! was celebrated with gushing torrents of champagne, a countdown extravaganza and Auld Laing Syne being murdered on tha dancefloor! We had an utter ball! Fanx very much to tha very wonderfull TIPPER who warmed up tha crowd (and our precision timed change over) with such excellent trax. Krust'n'Die rolled out tha basses and got us moshing in tha new year - U guys rocked!! Thanks to everyone who partied with us, and the Ten Pound Crew for facilitating such a fun NYE!

Mentalist @ 610 on the 15th Dec was a sordid cavern of sweaty raving, lazer reaching and bass banging goodness! What is it...
The CRAZY GOOD SHOWs are essentially an absinthe/alternative celebration, an evening of unnatural wonders and sensual delights starring some of Australia's foremost/innovative musical and visual artists.

The Crazy Good Show aims to create and maintain an interactive/communal event under the allure of absinthe. They showcase entertainers that have the will to be weird and different, and performers that wouldn't normally be associated with one another unless they were strangely thrown together or part of a crazy good show.

RIP WFXS WILL SERANTAK 1973 - 2004

Sadly Will is gone.
His decadent nature took him down a path that led to many exciting adventures and to many friends, but it was his destruction in the end. Will died at home from an overdose of heroin on Thursday the 15th July.

Will had been a volunteer announcer at Radio 4ZZZfm as well as 4ZZZs most recognisable graphic designer. His Cybernana Man, Day of the Living Zed and countless Radiothon designs will live on on many Brizzy kids walls.

His imagination and artwork fueled many a 4ZZZ event and fundraiser by capturing the spirit of Brisbanes creative youth. His joy of life was threaded through all his designs, and anyone who experianced his artwork felt a connection to the world Will saw. A world of youthfull exuberance where everyone, and everything could be a comic book character with "save the world" attitude.

Will was a positve force for creativity and having a bloody good time in Brisbane. He ran many nightclub events including Midian, Dead Machinery, Sub Atomic and recently Laid n Loaded. Will was always "out there" whether you saw him on the dance floor or running around promoting his latest art exhibition or club and he shall be sadly missed by us all.

We wont forget him soon.

MZO's WORLD TOUR 2005
We had an amazing time on tour in 2005..and we must thank everyone from the bottom of our rotting green hearts who helped get us monsters out of OZ - you are TOPS!

...It all started on the 21st of July 2005...and after surviving Tokyo's largest earthquake in 13 years, and doing 3 shows in 24hours.. MZO continued to cause a ruckus everywhere we went in Europe. From the industrial wet dream that is The STUBNITZ ship, to that dodgy pub in Bristol..(that sure is ONE rough town!)
Check out some pics from our last show on our 2005 European tour at the Elevate Festival in Austria where we played with Donna Summer and Dan Doormouse INSIDE A MOUNTAIN!!!
It was a great festival...and we are honoured that they have invited us back for another go in OCT 2006!
